We’re here to answer your questions and accommodate special requests

Do you offer fish processing & packing?

All of your fish are kept on ice on our boats throughout your trip. Salmon are gutted and gilled before you get back to the dock. All other species are left whole to ensure the quality and freshness of your fish.

We offer a fillet and vacuum-packing service on-site. You may take your fish home whole, filleted, vacuum-packed. Quick freeze and storage is available.

What about the crew, and safety?

Pacific Salmon Charter captains are (U.S. Coast Guard licensed) and crews are professionals who have the knowledge and experience to make your trip enjoyable and successful.

All of our captains and crew participate in the US Coast Guard Drug Program.  Safety is our top priority in terms of our crew and vessels and also weather conditions.

All of our fishing vessels are US Coast Inspected with all the latest safety equipment and electronics.  Each vessel has cabins, restroom, and walk around decks.

Do I leave a deposit?
Reservations should be made as early as possible to get the date(s) of your choice.
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation.
What licenses do I need?

A Washington or Oregon salt water license is good as long as you have the  Washington catch records or Oregon harvest cards.  Otherwise, you may purchase a one-day license from our office.

Our staff is happy to guide you should you have questions.

What if I need to cancel?

A full deposit refund will be made if you cancel 96 hours prior to departure.

Do I need to bring my own tackle?

Everything is provided, or you may bring your own.

When do I check in?
  • For Salmon or bottom fishing trips, be in the office between 5:00 AND 5:15 am.
  • Halibut fishing check-in is 4:30 am.
  • For Tuna, be in our office by 2:00 am.
  • All trips depart as soon as check-in is completed.
Can you recommend lodging?

We will assist you in locating motel accommodations or use our page on lodging to do it yourself.

What about lunch & drinks?

We can suggest where you may obtain refreshments/box lunches or you can make and bring your own.

Hard liquor is not allowed aboard our vessels.

We pride ourselves on making trips custom-tailored. Whether individuals, group, company, or private charters, we can accommodate you.  Please call ahead to make special arrangements for your trip.

Drive and play On the world’s longest beach, over 28 miles of hard-packed sand

In addition to the greatest sport salmon, tuna, halibut, bottom, and sturgeon fishing, There is plenty of recreational crabbing, clamming, and oyster harvesting

Sand sculpting is a favorite pastime, as is kite flying, both of which have events in their honor.  Horseback riding, movies, arcades, antique shops, hiking, go-karts, cycling, and some of the best restaurants in the Pacific Northwest await your discovery.
